Frequently asked questions
How the prices are collected, how picks qualify, how stakes are calculated and how the record is kept.
Does BETSPY place bets for me?
No. Nothing is ever staked with real money and no bookmaker account is connected. Every bet shown is recorded on paper so the record can be measured honestly.
Where do the prices come from?
Prices are collected from public bookmaker feeds on a fixed schedule. Each observation is stored with its source and the exact time it was seen, and it is never edited afterwards.
How is a pick chosen?
A game only becomes a pick when the recorded evidence passes fixed rules — how far the price moved, how many books agree, how many observations exist and how fresh they are. If nothing qualifies, no pick is published.
Why are some days empty?
Because no game met the rules that day. Picks are never forced to fill a page.
Which sports and bets are covered?
NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB, on moneyline, spread and totals only.
Why are only odds between 1.80 and 4.00 used?
Shorter and longer prices behave differently and are excluded so the record stays comparable. Anything outside that band is skipped entirely.
What are the four staking plans?
Fixed stake, capped recovery, percentage of bankroll and edge-based staking. Each runs on its own separate €1,000 paper bankroll, so you can compare how the same picks perform under different money management.
Does changing my plan change my past results?
No. All four bankrolls are recorded independently and history is never rewritten. Switching only changes which plan is highlighted for you.
Are losses hidden?
Never. Every settled bet, winning or losing, appears in the history with its stake, result, profit or loss and the bankroll afterwards.
Is profit guaranteed?
No. Nothing here is a prediction of profit and no profitability is claimed. Price movement is recorded evidence, nothing more. 18+.
